Jeff Koons is World's most successful artist (Damien Hirst anyone?). Need a proof? He's the record holder for the most expensive piece by a living artist ever auctioned. Try to beat that. His style is often associated with the lack thereof. Considered very kitschy and tasteless, but we honestly doubt he really cares. Instead he collects stacks and is living large.
Koon's current show at Berlin's Neue Nationalgalerie is collection of more of his recent work. Consisting of 11 items, 9 of which are made of huge stainless steel pieces, which intend to interpret oversized balloons or wrapped gifts. If you are in town until 08.02.2009 this is exhibition not to miss. Majority of the artwork belongs to private collectors, so this might be the only chance to see them together.
For those who won't make it to Berlin go after the jump to have a deeper look.

MOB Nike Dunk Hi Supreme

You thought after MOB Reebok Freestyle that was it for Leah and crew. You're dead wrong though. Married To The Mob straight out of NYC came out with another sneaker collabo. After Reebok it came to Nike and their flagship model Dunk Hi, which underwent supreme treatment. Cotton fabric in off white colors is dominant on the uppers with an accent of patent leather on the toebox and golden MOB insignia in focal points of the shoe. When you see woman wearing them you will know, that she's person with an character and charisma. Inspiration in the design to Chanel sport coat (classy) and Air Jordan XI (gangsta) is what comes to my mind, when I see them.
Available on 08.11.2008 at Nike Tier Zero accounts Worldwide including Patta in Amsterdam or Nort in Berlin.
More detail shots and bonus after the jump.

After unobtainable AF1 from KAWS there's a hope for sneaker maniacs. Thus the artist have designed two additional models for Nike: Air Max 90 (in white and neon green) and Air Max 90 Current (in black and neon green) in corresponding theme. The shoes look great, but unfortunately for us Euro based guys it looks like the they will be released in US at two locations only.
Have a look at details of the nice and subtle looking kicks as well as release info after the jump
